Systems and Programming
Daniel serves as an Operations & Systems Specialist, as of December 2008. He previously worked as an Operations & Systems Specialist with the Office of Information Technology for 9 years, before leaving the university for a one year stint as a Software Engineer with Jive Software. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from NCSU and works on a number of open source projects in his spare time. He currently works to design, implement, and support the various systems and server infrastructure within the college.
Thomas Graduated from East Carolina University in Dec. 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. He served as a temporary Tech. Support Technician for a little over a year at CHASS IT until going full time as an Operations Technician. He currently helps maintain the integrity of CHASS servers, virtual computing labs, network printers and everyday troubleshooting for faculty, staff and graduate students.
Martijn graduated from Durham Technical Community College in 2011 with an A.S. in Computer Programming, and a business degree in 1996 from Holtlant College, the Netherlands. Prior to joining CHASS IT, Martijn worked with a software development company as a programmer and in customer relations. Martijn joined CHASS IT in November 2012 and is currently working on several projects, including software deployment preparation.
Chris is currently employed as an Applications/Web Developer for CHASS IT, and began that role in September of 2008. Previously, he worked as a work-study for the department serving as a Network Computing Technician. He received his degree in Technology Education with a minor in Computer Science from NCSU in 2012. Prior to joining CHASS IT in Fall 2004, Chris volunteered his services to people and organizations in the community. As a member of CHASS IT, he has recently worked to help in upgrading the college web servers, updating and maintaining web applications, and troubleshoots a variety of IT problems.
